Our Mission
Our mission is to support you through your child’s IEP process. We are dedicated to support parents and guardians with their children from ages 3-22 in the public education setting in navigating the special education process, from the first evaluation to the IEP meetings.
We are not attorneys so we do not give counsel, but we do give recommendations and next steps based on the data presented to us. Through a thorough records review, we can give you a clear explanation of what your child is currently getting and what they really need.
Meet Norma
Special Education Advocate & Consultant
My name is Norma McGhee, and I am a mother of four with over a decade of experience in special education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Master’s degree in Special Education. I have Over 10 years special education experience in the public school setting, as a teacher implementing programs and services, attending hundreds of IEP meetings annually. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. Being bilingual allows me to effectively connect with and support a diverse range of families and students, particularly those from Spanish-speaking backgrounds.
My journey in special education is not just professional but also deeply personal. As a parent who has been on the other side of the table, I understand the challenges and concerns that families face. This dual perspective has deepened my empathy for children and strengthened my commitment to making a meaningful difference in their lives.
My goal is to support you in understanding the complexities of the IEP process.
I believe that every child deserves access to the resources and opportunities that will help them succeed.

Initial Consultation: $50
This will be a 15 minute consultation. we will discuss your child's specific situation, identify their needs, and determine if advocate services are suitable or if you prefer coaching. If my services are not the right fit, I will guide you towards appropriate resources.
